Inspecciones en áreas forestales críticas Esta variable no tiene información adicional.
Áreas forestales críticas identificadas por la Profepa Se consideran Zonas críticas aquellas áreas forestales que presentan procesos críticos de deforestación caracterizadas por la alta incidencia de ilícitos forestales y que constituyen la más alta prioridad de inspección y vigilancia. A partir del año 2001 la categoría de ANP (Áreas Naturales Protegidas) se encuentra incluida dentro de las áreas críticas ya que coinciden en su mayoría. Está en proceso la estimación de las superficies de cada una de las áreas.

Zona Metropolit ana del Valle de México (ZMVM), 1997: Los guiones indican datos no disponibles ya que la Delegación Profepa para esa zona se creó en 1999.
